The one thing I found in my late 40’s and now as a Midlife Mama who just turned 50 is that the traditional lipstick is no longer my friend 🤦‍♀️ Dry lips simply age us Mamas but good news! In February of 2024, I really started to feel unco

In February of 2024, I really started to feel uncomfortable in my own body. The scale was slowly inching upwards and I was barely walking over 4,000 steps a day. I was not happy with myself or my appearance. Not to mention, I knew I was turning 50 in a few months and SOMETHING had to change.

Here is what I did to lose 30 pounds and to feel better than I ever have at 50 years old 💪

💊 Added Daily Supplements
I have started taking Collagen, Multi-Vitamins and an Appetite Suppressing Cortisol Cocktail every day. I am now drinking a Cortisol Cocktail that doesn’t have any caffeine in it which I love!! It’s the only one I have found like it and so thankful that Amazon carries it!

🏃‍♀️ Walk 10K Steps a Day
Regular physical activity boosts mood and increases your energy level. It’s so easy to incorporate walking into your daily routine.

🥩 Decease my Sugar intake & Increase Protein
Protein helps maintain muscle mass and boosts energy levels.

💪 I religiously do 50 sit-ups a day
After 6 months of doing 50 daily sit-ups, my Meno belly has about disappeared! It’s a small change but over time has made a big impact.

After so many years of struggling and failing, I have finally found what works for me, which has brought so much joy and excitement back into my life again!

Which is why I can’t stop talking about it and sharing my success because I know I can’t be the only one who struggled.

Not only have I lost 35 pounds, but I now have the tools and knowledge to help others Midlife Mamas do the same.

Come with me as I share my favorite low carb high protein snacks that I ate to help me to lose the weight and reach my protein goals.

🍫 Kirkland Protein Bars I am obsessed with these protein bars, especially the chocolate chip cookie dough. I can’t believe these are considered healthy, they are just that good! They provide you with 21g of Protein and contain only 12g of NET CARBS.

🌰 Macadamia Nuts
Anytime I am looking for a crunchy snack, I will grab a handful of macadamia nuts to satisfy my craving. They are heart healthy and absolutely delicious. Try to keep them to a 1/4 cup though because they do run high in fat.

🍖 Chomps
I love chomps for protein on the go, I always keep a few of these in my purse for when I am Ubering the kids around town and need a quick snack. They come in two different options… Jalenpeno or Regular. They are perfect to throw in your purse the next time you get the munchies when you are running errands!

🥩 Love these Steak Bites, they are perfectly seasoned and already fully cooked. They make for a tasty snack or a delicious side to any meal.

🥚 Spinach Frittata Egg Bites - Do you love the Egg Bites at Starbucks? These egg bites contain 5 grams of protein per frittata and they are even better and so much cheaper than Starbucks!

As a 50 year old Mom who lost 35 pounds in 2024, you all know how much I love the Costco veggie egg bites so I had to try and make them myself! I absolutely loved how they turned out. These yummy egg bites are the perfect way to set your day up for success with a generous helping of protein and veggies.

To start out, you are going to crack 8 eggs into a large bowl and whisk them up with a little milk. Chop up some pre made spinach, I used the frozen Spinach from Green Giant. Add in your tomatoes or any other veggies of your choice and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Sprinkle in some cheese, using as much as you want. Spray a non stick muffin pan and add the egg mixture to each cup filing them about 2/3rds from the top. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and cook for 25 minutes. These egg bites are perfect for meal planning, I pack mine in glass meal prep containers since they taste amazing reheated.
